Hi Demonic,
Sadly I gave in, never got a reply from Richard regarding a replacement rod, or a user manual, or the firmware etc. I can see why everyone was digging at him online now, sadly wish this was spotted before purchase.

Sorry to hear this . Completely sympathise. ( though not surprised )
For the moment hold on to the bits..I for one might be interested in it. Never built a delta. Even when "working" a 3D printer can be massively frustrating. ..especially when tuning the mechanics. . ( just built an 400 mm cube printer and even though built from precision cut/ground parts..I am already on the third hot end...Most are just TOOO SLOW...)..and leveling a bed that big is non trivial. Auto bed leveling helps..but only the last 0.05 mm.

I finally got another printer from Aliexpress and it did arrive. It is a Kossel and was a real bargin ($260 including postage) www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6562649431.html?orderId=66417373609552However it is a delta like printer and I find it difficult to ajust all the firmware settings. To start with, whenever I move the Z axes, 2 motors only are moving

Well sadly I never got my replacement part from Richard. Got to say, I'm very disappointed with the 'customer service'. Anyone interested in it? Spent enough time messing about now trying to get the spare part and get it working. Will be writing a review soon if it doesn't turn up.

Just an update, sadly still no spare part from Richard. Has anyone else actually got a sumpod delta (metal) on here built up and running?

Jon It should be possible to get it working. I got my Kossel(similar to Delta) printer up and running without any manual and video in Chinese Can you list all the missing parts and I will show you where to buy them Boris

Just an update. After e-mailing Richard multiple times and him stating he was and had sent out the replacement metal rod, we still haven't received anything. The ironic thing is we were planning on doing a review of the 3d printer after it was built! bdureau it was the metal rod (spins to move the arms up and down). One of them has a bend in it. Also, anyone got the firmware working correctly on the sumpod delta metal?

Hello You should be able to find one on eBay. Could you post a photo of one of the rod. I have managed to get the firmware working on a Kossel printer so it is very similar. What kind of problem do you have?
