So he still did not get the whole Sumpod Aluminium delivery straight. A Pity more than one year after the campaign - but that was the initail funding.
The audacity is that the last statement was this: ...on March 5th.
I just hope he gets something on the way (complete or not - we could manufacture our own spare parts here) before the whole process goes too far through the official channels and some lawyer makes the most profit in the end.

My lawyer writes to him with a last time limit 1.3.2013 and i finally got it 1 week later.... not assembled with some low quality parts... My conversation with Richard , to get 5% money back for this, results in this answer:
"trying to resolve the problem but if you insist please ensure you use SUMPOD LTD as the defendant."
witch sounds extremly like "you will not get any money back cause my company is dead...you will only loose money again"
I can only tell everyone: "Never buy anything from this guy... it is a money trap. Even if you, like me, get something after a long time (11 months for me), he will break any promise he like to break."
I got my printer to work after more than 1 month, many mistakes (cause i am not experienced - that´s why i want an assembled printer) and finally now the swaping of parts to get an acceptable and stable quality. This costs extra money... Maybe in the amount of annother printer at the end of this trip....

We ordered a Sumpod Aluminium Large (fully soldered, built and tested, includes two nozzles) parallel to this campaign, ending on April 26th 2012. Latest feedback from Richard was: " 99% of the backlog have been booked for pickup. To those that have had a tracking number but no pickup, please bear with me another couple of days." (February 8th 2013) The (second) tracking link is still inactive: 25/01/2013 06:03 BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED No further mails, then a tweet on Feb. 20th (picture of Sumpod Delta) following new products (the metal Delta und lately the MDF Delta) on sumpod.com - which isn't getting us anywhere. => It still seems to be stuck, lochnessi. Tracking link still shows no change, our purchasing department has already sent dunning letters - to no avail. Has anybody else received his/her Aluminium Sumpod by now or are others still waiting? It will be 20 months next week...

It will be 20 months next week... Our Sumpod arrived in February - 22 Months after ordering. Then I did not have enough time to build it and the instrucions were not ready anyway, but now I can show you a result. As I hate creating accounts and I already have one at the "Heavy Metal Forum Ostwestfalen-Lippe" I put it in the offtopic there. ;-) www.metalforum-owl.de/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2584

That looks good. Did you sort the heated bed issue?

I had the same problem with the parts but that was due to a burr on the rods. Did not need to drill anything. The black rubber parts are feet. These are held in place with a tnut. The Aluminium folded part was slightly bent on mine but I think this was due to packaging and was easily put back into shape.
You have the usb connector on the back wrong. You need to swap it round in the casing. The middle part comes out. Mine took two months to arrive so I do not understand why yours took so long. What was the reason in the end and was it a surprise when it turned up or did you know it was coming?

Well... No idea. The whole process (indiegogo-campaign, sumpod.com, ...) did not get frequent or regular updates, as we all know. Purchasing department is at another site and I assumed they had already written off the expense, so I replied to www.sumpod.com/blogs/news/12356893-update-help-backlog-and-new-direction...and was asked 6h later if a V2 kit, sent within a few days, would be a solution. The third tracking number came still on that day and on the next morning it already showed movement. => Updated.
