Hi The sumpod website currently says 3-day lead time or delivery for several of the machines. Given the history of 19-month waits people have been having, I'm wondering if this is legit/possible? Anyone ordered something recently and had it actually arrive on time? Also, which is better out of the basic aluminium and the mdf delta? Thanks

Difficult to say. When I received (after some message of asking) the sumpod alu after 4 month waiting (initialy 15 days for delivery at order), I know that some other people was still waiting for their since more than 8 month...
Further some parts was missing. Most of them was sended 4 weeks later but a nozzle part is still missing. So I have only one operational extruder on the two expected since one year now... and no more answer to my emails.
You can try and maybe have chance but honestly I'm not sure that it is the best machines to buy, regarding all the problem since the beginning...

I would not bet on it. I haven't seen mine so far. Unless you are doing your business face to face i would not recommend it. Also if you happen to go there look me up , so you could grab mine from him also

I bought a machine and it took 7 weeks from ordering in October. It was the basic before it was taken off the site. Very simple machine. Cannot see how the part was broken as the mdf is packed well and tight. Did you contact sumpod?

If only this forum could reach more people, to act as a warning not to buy. He is just about the worst person to deal with, he lies, he has no interest in resolving issues, he's scum. I have a feeling the odd Guest members praising him are actually him and or his Mum
Perhaps we should organise a coach trip to go and see him
