Hi Everyone Has anyone had any trouble getting delivery of their SUMPOD? I sure have and it is getting VERY ANNOYING Any advice from anyone who has been in the same situation would be appreciated.

In answer to the op ..has anyone had trouble with delivery... I for one did. As to justifying that statement with emails...no thanks.
Funny to see this comment today tom. Just heard from some one claiming to be RS and he has "heard" that my kit was in part broken and short of some commponents.... Funny that. Got nowhere at time of delivery didn't expect much after that. .and was just glad to have recieved kit at all..there was a moment where I was wondering. ...

I had no problems. Had a delay of two weeks or so. Lead time should be 4 weeks and it took about 6 weeks. Sent him a email after a bit more than 4 weeks, and got an answer one day later. He said, that there was a problem with his suppliers, but will send the package at the end of the week.
All fine... He send the package 5 weeks after order, i got the trackingnumber an after a week my sumpod arrived...

It´s been a while. Ordered in march 2013. Got it and build it... Runs just fine...

One extruder or dual extruder? Anyone living near by or willing to "knock on the richards door"? It seems that if you get upclose and personal, things might start to move with richard. Would be glad to pay for the trip.

Just give an invoice number means nothing and I will bring it to Richards attention. have you tried ringing though or texting?

I have called him few times but always voice mail. Also I have got more than few times emails that the package will be sent out in next few days.. but then 1-2 weeks later nothing. Would ask again.. and same thing continius.. "will be sent in few days"... and on some emails he just doesn't answer.

he has been off ill but seems to answer the phone. I have seen machine parts stacked up in the unit. he has lots of the new ones.

Well not to me. I called yesterday and today. He probably doesn't like my international number. My order nr is #1196. Dual extruder. Every sign I get is that printers are there, but for some reason mine does not get shipped. Other posts in the forum that talk about months and months of waiting doesn't give me much confidence also. Will wait for your response and then it's probably time to start cancelling order and asking for a refund. I can't wait too much anymore.

It is useless to wait much longer, he is playing for time and your nerves. You are not alone with this man. I was also sold down the river. I paid the full price for a dual head fully built machine (1100 pounds) in advance 10 months ago, received lots of not fulfilled promises, 2 dead tracking numbers, tons of lies, but no printer after all. I also asked for money refund a few times, again with no luck. At the end he did not even answer my mails. I have kilometers of email correspondence and some call recordings stored, it is not just a shame how Richard handles his customers / victims, but it is actually a crime.
