Perhaps you should remove the old chip if it is still working and put it in the new board. If not I have on order an lcd + sdcard so I will soon start playing with my firmware again so if you can find out what is specific to your printer I can help you modifying your firmware. The first thing would be to show us the arduino board wiring this will help to don the pin.h file

Could you post your firmaware configuration.h file so that I can help you configure it. If you do a little schema of your wiring and show us the axes directions and end stop that would help.

This is where to change it in your firmware #define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {2*42.50,2*42.50,1066.67,105} The way I did it was by priting a cube 10x10x10 mm and then measured it and I adjusted the step/mm Then do a 100x100x2 cube, measure it and re-adjust the step/mm

For the extruder speed I would ajust it with the frontend software For exemple Repetier host allow you to do that in the manual control tab. Then you need to look at your print and make sure that the layers stick well, you can tell when there is not enought, sometime you even see missing layers
