No instructions anywhere that I can find for this! I have and can see how that might work if there was a hole in the aluminium block for the filament to get in to the grooved wheel. What should be the arrangement for filament going into the extruder? Andy

Hi I have the Sumpod aluminium which seems to have a similar extruder. On mine there are 3 holes around the outside. 2 of the holes seem to be in line with each other this is for the push connector to go in one and hold the tubing to the hot end and the filament to go in the other. I have tried to include a picture of this setup, sorry for the quality. Attachments:

Thanks Charlie that helps. Is that hole on the top in the picture plain or is there some provision for guiding the filament on the way in to the extruder.
Cheers Andy

I'm not sure if I understand the question? The filament feeds in through the bottom, the brass gear wheel attached to the motor then pushes the filament through to the top hole were the push connector is screwed in so the filament then goes through the connector and tubing to the hotend. Hope this helps.

Thanks Charlie, on mine there is no hole opposite the one for the push fitting, I can easily drill one but didn't know if there was a fitting to go in it.
