Hey all,
Today my 3D Printer Delta arrived. However, there was one vital part missing. The Instructions.
Does anyone have these? and if you do, would you be able to scan them in for me?
Thanks, Alex

Hey,
As an update I have finally built the printer and wired up all the electronics without the instructions. I am now in the process of setting up the firmware as the one which is on the Sanguinololu when it is shipped will not work!
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to message me!
Thanks, Alex

I don't suppose you wrote a guide did you?

Sadly i didn't do a guide. I am still in the process of getting the electronics to work.
If you have Skype or something I am sure I can point you in the right direction...

Hi Alex.
I have the Delta sitting on my table partly assembled - and I am stuck.
Would you take a few photos of your printer and post a link to them here? Best regards, Kaare

Open letter to Richard Sum:
Hi Richard.
We have taken a good, long look on the parts delivered, and they are neither here nor there, which of course you must know.
But the basic frame seems solid, so there is no reason why the printer should not eventually work.
Please take the time to assemble a single Delta, so that you can post a full parts list and some images of a working printer.
When you have it figured out, as I am sure you will, we can compare the working model to the delivered parts and find out how we get our machine to work as well.
We can do some of the neccesary adjustments ourselves - like drilling out the hole in the hobbed gear. But only if we have some degree of certainty, that we will end up with a functional machine.
Does that sound like a plan, Richard?
Best regards,
Kaare

I am stuck too. I don't know how the slide bearings relate to the holders? and hope someone can help. Thanks, Magicmodel

The position of the bearings doesn't matter at all in relation to the black holder.

Thanks Ayouden, By the way I read in a previous comment on this thread that your Sanguilinoloulo firmware was not working. How did you discover this as I think I have the same problem even though the bootloader, marlin and test boxes have been checked on the chip on the board what firmware did you eventually upload? Here is what ive got: and when I connect in Proterface I get: And when I try and move steppers I get nothing. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Magicmodel3DPrinting never sleeps

Hey,
Well first things first.
The motors will not move as you have the drivers in wrong. The little screw should be on the left hand side, not the right.
The correct firmware I used can be chosen from the SUMPOD website. It's under assembly i believe.
However, from the last time i downloaded it, it was not correct! So beware!!
hope this helps, any more questions please feel free to ask!
Thanks
